We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for designing efficient and modern software systems.
Job Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, libraries, and frameworks.
. Maintain a list of approved tools and development resources.
. Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and QA teams to align on technical stack choices.
. Monitor industry trends and propose innovative technical solutions.
. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software applications.
. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Maintain compliance with software licensing, security, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to internal documentation and coding guidelines.
Assist in technical audits or compliance reviews when required.
Optimize application performance and resource utilization.
Suggest improvements to reduce infrastructure costs and development inefficiencies.
Align technical strategies with business goals through collaboration with product and management teams.
Help estimate and manage development timelines and resource allocation.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Identify and mitigate potential security, performance, or scalability issues.
Participate in code refactoring and technical debt reduction efforts.
Work closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and defect resolution.
Utilize version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and project management tools (Jira).
Maintain accurate technical documentation and change logs.
Track and report development progress using sprint metrics, velocity charts, and release notes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and at least 3 years of professional experience, OR
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and at least 2 years of professional experience.
Additional Information
This position qualifies as a “specialty occupation” as defined by U.S. immigration regulations, as it requires the theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
